 The school third term has now been open for 1.5 months and is always a busy term in the year with lots of activities at the end like graduation of our Top nursery students to primary one, primary leaving final examination for 2 of our children who will be completing and now looking forward to either secondary level or vocational studies to acquire life skills. The school third term has now been open for 1.5 months and is always a busy term in the year with lots of activities at the end like graduation of our Top nursery students to primary one, primary leaving final examination for 2 of our children who will be completing and now looking forward to either secondary level or vocational studies to acquire life skills.

The number of children in vocation is gradually going up and next year the total will likely hit to 5 or 6. We thank you that your support has pushed them there. So, far, these children are keen to acquire skills in Tailoring, hairdressing, computers applications, carpentry, electrical installations.
 Two student teachers, doing a placement, came to help.
Water connection came through in our home. We can now incur less/or zero  on water as  compared to the past .Children clothes are being washed as soon as they get dirty  not as at first when they could be heaped , then plan for water expense …may God bless you heaps and heaps for making water connection happen.
Praises;
1-Both Water and Electricity connection came through.
2- There have been less cases of sickness compared to other months.
3-Due Diligence re-registration process with Global Giving Uk is going well.
4-Feeding has greatly improved at GLH.
Prayer requests;
1-Friends will be visiting GLH end of this year for renovation work…pray that all goes well.
2-Due Diligence re-registration with Global Giving gets completed smoothly.
3-Our vocational students get fees to acquire life skills.
4-Good health among the children we care for and the staff.
5-Gerald (an orphaned boy) does well in his O levels and get sponsorship for a law course.
8-Children success in their studies especially as they hope for other classes next year. They will need God’s hand to achieve this.
9-Orphan sponsorship scheme Administrator to be got….We sent in request to friends but this has not been materialised. We pray for one young man who is still thinking over God’s direction on this.
As usual, 25 pounds can educate and feed an orphan for a month. So any kind help could pass through mark at markshawhamilton@hotmail.com or David at  meadows.dj@internode.on.net
