CAST A WiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiDE NET FOR FATHER'S DAY!
By Lisa Peracchio | Executive Director
FOOD. HEALTH. OPPORTUNITY.
Dear Valued Partner:
First, we sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are well.
Thank you for making a difference to school children in rural East Africa by supporting fish programs. Your support makes it possible for more than 1,000 school children in rural Kenya to receive a meal of fish each week. Fish is a high-quality protein, rich in essential micronutrients such as iron, zinc, vitamin A and fatty acids. In our partner schools, children stay healthy through proper and adequate nutrition. Healthy school children are better learners!
This Father’s Day, please consider casting a wide net with a gift for your dad by supporting fish farming programs for school children.
Thank you! Wishing you continued good health.
With gratitude,
East African Children’s Fund

Fish Farming
FOOD. HEALTH. OPPORTUNITY.
Dear Valued Partner:
First, we sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are well.
Here are the highlights of what you made possible since our last report:
- All school fishponds have been cleaned, and one has a new liner.
- Three school fishponds have been restocked with 20,000 fingerlings.
- The fish from the ponds are served to 550+ school children and youth twice weekly and 340+ school children and youth once weekly. Fish is an excellent source of protein for growing bodies and minds.
Our 3 partner schools in Kenya remain in quarantine for almost 1 year now as a protection from COVID-19. These schools serve as both homes and schools. EAC Fund continues to support almost 2,000 school meals daily with food from our food security programs. You made it possible for the fish farming programs to thrive.
There are many inspiring organizations so we’re humbled and grateful for your past support. Thank you!
Wishing you continued good health.
With gratitude,
East African Children’s Fund
P.S.: 100% Direct Giving: 100% of your donations supported school feeding and farming programs for disadvantaged children in East Africa.
