What a Catch!

What a Catch!
What a Catch!

FOOD. HEALTH. OPPORTUNITY.

Dear Friend:

Thanks for supporting our fish farming project in Kenya to feed almost 1,000 vulnerable school children! Your funds built a fishpond. You made it possible to stock the pond with fish fingerlings. You supported the purchases of inputs to make fish feeds. The success of this project is due to you.

See how the fingerlings have grown. So have the children who now enjoy fish on a weekly basis. Fish is a nutritious source of protein. Serving fish one time per week improves the nutrition and health of our partner’s children. As Collins says, “We all love fish suppers. It’s special. I used to live on the streets of Maua before I came to Nchiru Children’s Village. It was a hell. We slept in empty food sacks and searched for discarded food. People in the village called us names. Now, I have a home and a school. We have healthy and clean food here. I no longer worry about where to find food. I am thankful. I am really working hard to brighten my future and make my school proud. I believe I will make it in life. One day, I want to be a teacher. I want to help other children like me who still live on the streets.”

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of the children we support. We’re hoping to wrap up this project during the GlobalGiving Little by Little Matching Campaign this week. As a ‘Superstar’ partner to GlobalGiving, we’re eligible for bonus funds! Your donations, in any amount, move us forward and are appreciated! Thanks for your consideration!

We are grateful for your support!
