2014 so far for the Charitable Trust
By Sophie Birkett | Head of Operations, Charitable Trust

Dear Supporter,
Now we are into the second half of 2014, it's a great time to reflect on how 2014 has been going so far!
We are delighted to share that this has been a successful period, raising in seven months over what we did the whole of the previous year. This increase in funding has brought a corresponding increase in the impact we have been able to create on our programs around the world.
We've seen the expansion of our National Scholarship Program take off in Australia with a partnership with Federation of Young Australians and local councils. We've started several new projects including supporting a feeding project in Zimbabwe and a Global Initiative towards universal primary education and have successfully funded several different features on our projects for the full 2014 including a new male elephant in Thailand, an entire years rent in Nepal and numerous feeding programs. This is all on top of being able to run our usual activites.
Thank you all for your fundraising efforts and donations and we look forward to reporting continued success in the coming months. For more information, please see our website http://www.gvi.org
