Less than two months into the new financial year for the GVI CT things are already moving at pace. Adding to our growing range of projects we have developed new and exciting initiatives in South Africa and Fiji:
Support for Special Needs Orphans in South Africa
This project will fund much needed equipment to provide the best possible level of care for children with Special needs in the Ikhayalethemba Village, South Africa. In the long-term training local staff and bringing resources and knowledge of professionals.
Environmental education for underprivileged children in South Africa
This project will fund an outreach program with local partner Daktari the aim of which will be to help underprivileged children experience and learn about wildlife. The aim of the initiative is to reduce pollution and illegal poaching and open up opportunities for youth to get involved in eco tourism.
Education for Underprivileged Children in Fiji
This project will focus on helping the community to construct a kindergarten for children aged 2-5 and provide scholarships for older children to progress to high school.
