The hope of her future is promising
Rose Mary (not her real name) is a 20-year-old girl. She is the second child in a polygamous family of 15 children. She joined Kole Intellectual Forum in 2023 after falling out of school from primary five of Uganda system of education.
Being the first daughter of her mother’s Rose Mary was suddentally saddled with the responsibilities of basic house chores. Her father works as a meat seller in the market and it is from his meagre sales that he supports his large family.
Before she was born, she narrated her story that: her mother was afflicted with prolonged labour-induced mental illness to her that she could not hope of a brighter future. For more than 18 years now, she had been battling with periodic attacks of the illness; but when she came to Institute of Knowledge - Kole Intellectual Forum - she was taken to the hospital and she got proper means of medication - today she is pround of being supported by the system and fortunately she has now started her work shop which is very promising. She is therefore very thankful to all those who ssupported the cause ofKole Intellectual Forum that gave an helping hand in 2023. Her success purely rely on the support.
