Given the high level of vulnerability of girls and women across the globe known almost to everybody; including, those in Africa, Uganda, and Angic, Bala Sub-county, Kole District in particular; Kole Intellectual Forum, a Community Based Organization, working within the area, in its principle to promote quality, sustainable, and potential education to the majority of vulnerable children of the common men in public primary schools within the said district; although it has several different types of intervention, among them, according to the revelations of different types of research the organization conducted within the region; the organization observed that: one of the key and equally important approach to tackle social problems, improve people's life chances, support communities, help the environment and to create employment for those most severely disadvantaged like girls out of school in Kole District; was to design a program of Home Economics with hope of tackling social problems through social enterprise.
To begin with, according to the members of Board of the organization, that: the 10 girls at their hands at the Institute are supposed to be treated as the trainees of the program; and, they are expected to be employed in different departments of the organizational different social enterprises; for instance, in the department of tailoring workshop whereby within one and half months from 30/9/2020 when the girls reported to the institute; the girls have started to exhibit high level of skills they are acquiring and they have started to begin to make face masks and school uniform that will be sold to the public primary schools at a subsidize prices. Hence, the concept has started to manifest itself to the truth that: when a social enterprise profits society profits.
