World’s problems are pending: Assumed by others
The world’s problems aren’t being solved fast enough because the people with the best solutions are being shut out and those who might have assumed to be solving are doing it through the report they are getting from what they called it “RESEARCH”. Kole Intellectual Forum, through its unique approach; while considering and understanding into detail what exactly what is a research is? Who are behind the research? And who are those implementing the result from the report? In such research, the organization has come to understand that, there is a common saying going on around the world that: “The world’s problems aren’t being solved fast enough because the people with the best solutions are being shut out.” (GlobalGiving, 2023); without considering those who conducted the research as those who might have conducted the research as those who might have shut out the local researchers.
Precisely, Kole Intellectual Forum is moving and on; by being a Community Based Organization: meaning an organization established by the real indigenous children of that particular community; research based, meaning too, is such an organization that an organization that is initially informed by the local problem and have solution to the local problem; to make matters after conducting local research, being informed by the research and the local knowledge; the organization is the one implementing the project they are undertaking.
The summary is that: they, at Kole Intellectual Forum are conducting an action research. That is, a research method that aims to simultaneously investigate and solve an issue. In other words, as its name suggests, action research conducts research and takes action at the same time.
