22nd Report on Women Vegetable Club

Thank you for the kind donations of 17,333 USD and all your support throughout . Our women vegetable club is successfully growing and helping to change the socio-sconomic condition of the rural women in Punjab Province.
During the last quarter, 4 women groups have farmed, cabbage and bitter gourd which are a high seller during auumn and winters. The first cycle has given them quite a good profit and they are ready to sell the second cycle (upto 2800 per day). The 5th woman group in Faisalabad have also cultivated cucumber which is selling at a good price. The demand of these vegetable is high and is giving a good profit to all the women farmers.
AWARD is paying regular monitoring visits to the women and encouraging them to keep their spirits high. The women are thankful to AWARD for the support."

21st Report on Women Vegetable Club

Thank you for the kind donations of 16,603 USD and all your support throughout . Our women vegetable club is successfully growing and helping to change the socio-sconomic condition of the rural women in Punjab Province.
The women groups have farmed, apple gourd which is high in demand. Selling their first cycle to the markets, they have earned quite a good profit of (3000 per day) . Two of the other women groups in Tehsil Samundri , Faisalabad have also cultivated apple gourd and cucumber. As the lockdown has been lifted up , the demand of the vegetable is high and is giving a good profit to all the beneficiairies. The other group earned a profit of nearly 35000 a day. Majority of the women groups are now preparing to farm Cabbage, which is a high profit vegetable and will be ready by the winters .
One of the women group in Dhol Basti is quite happy and earning a good profit from the farm. One of the group member said " With the profit earned i have managed to start a small business on the side which has also started giving me a good profit. I am Thankful to AWARD for believing in us."
The project has seen decline in donations. It is a requeest to all donors and supporters to keep supporting the project.

20th Report on Women Vegetable Club

Thank you for the kind donations of 16,602 USD and all your support throughout . Our women vegetable club is successfully growing and is currently in its 5th year as more women wants to be the part of the project who wish to start the vegetable farming.
4 of the women groups have recently farmed, bitter gourd and peas as it is high in demand. Selling their first cycle to the markets, they have earned quite a good profit of (1000-2000 per day) . Two of the women groups in Tehsil Samundri , Faisalabad have cultivated apple gourd and cucumber. As the lockdown has been lifted up , the demand of the vegetable is high and is giving a good profit to all the beneficiairies.
The beneficiary Nadia is very excited. According to her " I used to work in the farms for someone else and remained under paid for many years . I cant beleive that i have my own farm and i can grow whatever i want. I am paying back the installments on time and I wish to acquire more land in future. Few beneficiaries have asked for the loan amount again after succcessfully completing the loan cycle.
