With our new program, we aim to provide solar lamps to children in our communities, replacing the dangerous kerosene lamps they currently rely on to do their homework at night. Kerosene lamps pose serious risks for young children—open flames can easily cause burns or accidental fires, and the toxic fumes they emit lead to long-term respiratory and eye health problems. By switching to clean, safe solar lamps, we can protect our children’s health while helping them study after dark.
Solar lamps offer a sustainable solution. They require no fuel, produce no smoke, and give bright, reliable light powered simply by the sun. With a solar lamp, a child can read, write, and complete assignments safely in the evening, improving their learning and academic performance. This also reduces household expenses, as families no longer need to buy kerosene.
To make this happen, we need your continued support. Your donations will allow us to purchase durable, child-friendly solar lamps and distribute them directly to families through local community networks. Together, we can replace a harmful tradition with a safe, lasting tool for education. Every lamp we provide means a healthier home, a better study environment, and brighter futures for our children. Please stand with us to light the way to learning—without the danger of fire or fumes. Thank you for making this possible.
