Dear HOPE Supporter,
Thank you for your valuable donations to providing food for patients at HOPE Hospital.
We, at HOPE hospital, do not turn a single patient away and will bear the cost of medical treatment for patients unable to pay.
These same patients are unable to afford food during their hospital stay either. As we are caring for an increased amount of admitted patients, our need for your help is even greater. Because proper nutrition is essential to healing, and therefore cannot be dismissed out of the treatment process. Please help us continue to provide our patients with the care they need.
Best Regards,

Because of you our work is possible
By Johanna Hansing | Program Officer
Dear HOPE Supporter,
Thank you very much for your commitment to providing our needy in-hospital patients with food during their stay. What most people do not realize is that it is not only the hospital stay costs that deter patients from wanting to seek proper medical care services, but all of the associated costs as well. These costs include transportation from their remote villages, medication, loss of wages and food for them and their accompanying family. As HOPE works to provide all patients in need with free care if they are unable to pay, we seek support for some of the associated costs. Healthy, nutritious meals are essential for patients to recover and heal from surgeries, sickness and disease. Patients who are malnourished recover much more slowly, increasing the time they need to stay in the hospital and cannot return to work.
We are preparing for a significant increase in our in-patient maternal ward, for a great reason! A wonderful project was awarded to us whereby we provide Rohingya Refugee women with antenatal care, safe pregnancy and delivery education and provide high risk women with delivery in our hospital.
This project will truly save lives of so many women who die needlessly during labor. HOPE is looking forward to a full in-patient ward full of healthy new moms and their children.
As always, thank you for helping these women in need.

Food for hospital patients in Bangladesh
By Johanna Hansing | Program Officer
Dear HOPE Supporter,
Maternal mortality is a pressing issue in rural areas of Bangladesh. HOPE, therefore, ensures to provide safe delivery to all mothers. As many mothers are unable to pay for delivery, HOPE provides delivery free of care through funding from our committed partners.
Most patients live far from the hospital and transportation is costly and roads not always safe; therefore family members cannot go back and forth from home to the hospital and bring food for the new mother. They cannot afford to go out and purchase meals.
Your donations ensure that new mothers receive nutritious meals so that they can recover after delivery and are healthy to feed their newborns. This project not only ensures that patients in critical care are provided meals but also supports that of new life. Thank you so very much.
Best Regards,
