Help Women by Providing Tailoring Training

Greetings.

Thank you for your generous support for the destitute women and girls for their development.

We have identified 110 women and girls belongs to Mandlem village of Nandikotkur Taluk, Kurnool district and surveyed in the village to eliminate the povery and to create sustainable livelihoods.

In each and every batch, 25 poor women and girls will be admitted to provide skill training in fashion designing courses. In this 6months training duration women learn the cutting, different types of stitching, blouses cutting, uniforms designing, inner wear preparation, different types of embroidery techniques, etc. In this Skill development training center 5 sewing machines have provided along with required raw material. With this raw material women and girls learns the techniques of the fashion designing course. The women and girls are very enthusiastic to adopt the new techiques in the skill development trainings. Some of them are taking the orders from outside and stiching as per their needs and getting about Rs.3500/- per month as suplimentary income to their family.

After completion of the fashion designing course, we provide escort services to the beneficiairies to link up with the financial instutions. The women and adolescent girls are very happy for orgnizing this kind of valuable skill development fashion designing courses to create sustainable livelihoods.

Greetings from SERUDS

Thank you for all your kind generous support for the deprived women and poor adolescent girls to get training in fashion designing for their sustainable livelihoods. 

The women and girls are living in TV9 Nagar, the location is very remote from the town and fully rocks surrounding the village. The women were idle before starting the skills development training program for women. The age group of the women and girls are 15years to 35years. 25 women and girls are being provided 6months vocational skills training in tailoring and embroidery. Before coming to the skill development training center, some of them are used to work in the near by town as domestic servant maids, construction labourers, tobacco (beedi) making products, kirana general stores, etc. The poor women children used play in the hazardous locations, where their parents go to the work places. 

By seeing this critical juncture, SERUDS identified 25 such women and girls and providing 6months vocational skill development training in fashion desinging course. Now the women and girls are able to earn Rs.200 per month and got a self confidence. The women are educating their children and sending children to the schools regularly with sufficient educational material. The women and girls are learnt stitching the models of petty coats, blouses, uniforms for the children, cutting, inner wears, frocks, falls, different works with threads on sarees, etc.
