In this Shareen Urban Slum of Kurnool Municipal Corporation many of deprived women, widows, poor adolescent girls are having no skills. Some of them will not go to work in other locations due to traditional customs in the families. The women and girls are very desire to learn skills training in fashion designing, zari work, Tailoring and embroidery. The age group of the women and girls are 15 to 35 years. We have put skilled qualified trainer to teach designing skills to all the 25 beneficiaires for 6 months duration. Seruds providing necessary raw material to learn the skills training. In this duration the beneficiaries are learning about the various designs, cuttings, stiching, button stitching, etc. Daily 4 hours provides the skills training. Women and girls are very active during the training classes.
Meanwhile the women are getting orders from neighbours, near by locations to stitch the blouses, petty coats, uniforms, jackets, sarees falls, inner wear etc. By doing this vocation the women and girls are earning Rs.180 per day. They got confidence to stand on their own by stiching market demand clothes.
