A great second half of the school year

Dear donor, please accept our heartiest greeting. Thank you for your donation, we are thrilled to have your support. Through your donation we have been able to accomplish many goals and continue working towards to offering an affordable and quality education that fosters the professional and personal development of the young beneficiaries. You truly make the difference for us, and we are extremely grateful!

We all know that vocational talks at the secondary level are fundamental for guiding students in making informed career decisions, aligning their personal interests and aptitudes with academic and job opportunities. They prevent university dropout, reduce frustration from impulsive decisions, and help overcome family or social pressure.

Main benefits of Vocational Talks:

• Self-knowledge

• Frustration reduction

• Connection with the world of work• Responsible decision-making

• Access to reliable information

These activities are, therefore, an essential part of secondary education that transcends academics, focusing on the student's holistic development for their integration into the adult world.

In this sense, we coordinated a talk aimed at guiding students in making decisions about their professional future, based on the experiences shared by middle management and executives from Grupo Puntacana (Hospitality, Finance, Human Resources, and Punta Cana Airport). It also helped students discover and reaffirm their passions and interests and align their skills with their university studies.

In the other hand, we continue to strengthen the English program through a new space suitable for learning and practicing the language, innovative activities and teaching methods using a digital platform

The first stage of the new nursing course has already started .

Thanks to the partnership with IQTEK, 16 students completed training in high-demand technical profiles: Full Stack Developer, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, among others. They were also recognized for their strong academic performance.

It is worth noting that the city council awarded the school for its excellent performance in the patriotic march competition on National Independence Day.

Also the expansion of the facilities is going very well, we mean:

4 additional classrooms
Enlargement of the teachers meeting room.

Our objective is to improve the operational efficiency of the schooland meet the community's needs caused by the shortage of the schools in the region.

2025-2026 school year is going very well.

We continue to bet on comprehensive education for young people because it goes beyond academics, seeking to develop all dimensions of the person (cognitive, emotional, social, physical and ethical) to form complete, critical and resilient individuals, preparing them for real life through knowledge, socio-emotional skills, values, art, sport and citizenship, adapting to their unique needs and fostering their maximum potential to build a better society.

In this sense, we continue to strengthen the English program through a new space suitable for learning and practicing the language. At the same time, the music and singing classes are going well and the school choir is already a reality !

The new nursing course will start soon with the support of our partner entity Infotep . We already have the ambulance that has been converted into a mobile classroom but the classroom is still under preparation

Also we have started the expansion of the facilities:

Enlargement of the teachers meeting room.

Until now, the 2025-2026 school year is going very well. Due to the shortage of schools in the region, our educational center is offering the second grade of middle school; in addition to the high school education.

20th Graduation Ceremony

Dear donor, please receive a warm greeting. No doubt, your contribution to this project plays a key role in helping to achieve the educational goals of hundreds of youth from vulnerable communities of the tourist destination of Punta Cana.

We remain focused on getting better life opportunities for the students and all of the members of the polytechnic school in the community of Veron, through the continuous improvement of this educational center.

Your support has made a great difference in this process !.

We are delighted to inform to you about the recent achievements:

We held the 20th graduation ceremony, in which 62 youth were graduated from high school, some students and teachers were awarded for their performance. It was a meaningful and emotional ceremony, as always. The director of the school exhorted the graduates to always pursue their dreams and never forget the human values that were instilled in them. To date 1,450 youth have graduated from the school.

5 students participated for two months in the summer internship ”Veranitos” at Grupo Puntacana company; they were at the airport, ecological division of the foundation and security area. It is a wonderful vocational program that supports the future generation of professionals on their way to success. They were selected for their high academic performance.

We already finished the roofing of the basketball and volleyball court. Now the school has a more suitable space for sports practices which can be used for other activities and events as well, in fact it hosted the recent graduation ceremony.
The new nursing course will start soon with the support of our partner entity Infotep. We already have the ambulance which has been converted into a mobile classroom

A one week summer camp took place in the school benefiting 35 children in need of the surrounding communities. The camp offered recreational activities with a didactic approach.

The school staff is taking advantage of the summer vacation to do maintenance labors of the facilities (outdoor painting, land scape, among others) and prepare the next school year

The 2025-2026 school year will start at the end of August. Due to the shortage of schools in the region, our educational center is offering the second grade of middle school; in addition to the high school education.
