Natural fertilizer for production
To live sound and healthy, healthy food is most important for the human being but for the hybridization of different species and contamination of chemical fertilize which seems produce more production in the agricultural field, are turning the nation in a vulnerable life living in health situation. But Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is working for sustainable production practices in south western coastal region of Bangladesh. For the natural production which will support the community both food and nutrition from their natural production. In that case, cooperative members using natural fertilizer for their production that will ensure the healthy life with also economical solvency.
BEDS is currently trying to raise funds from GlobalGiving platform in order to help those marginal people in the way of income generation for their better future with better economic conditions. We also hope that through taking support from various corners they will be able to use their products for earning their sound livelihood.

Natural farming of Macrobrachium rosenbergii
Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) introduced natural integrated farming practices in coastal area where traditional shrimp farming method is converted into Integrated Mangrove Aquaculture method. Benefit of this method is no need to extra feeding for fish which minimize the production coast. Result is that natural fish or shrimp which is produced get a new dimension. BEDS is trying to introduce theses natural produced fish in the abroad market and working for this attempt.
BEDS is currently trying to raise funds from GlobalGiving platform in order to help those marginal people in the way of income generation for their better future with better economic conditions. We also hope that through taking support from various corners they will be able to use their products for earning their sound livelihood.

Bangladesh Environment and Development Society (BEDS) is a native and local organization in Bangladesh that is working for 9 thematic area and among them one part is livelihoods where as tried to improve the living condition by practicing local knowledge and habits. Rearing of duck and Sheep is an easy task for the local women because they got this knowledge from their born.
For this mission, BEDS develop a community-based cooperative that is function/ run by the local coastal women namely BANOJIBI where they are rearing sheep and duct that is increasing day by day through breeding. Cooperative members conduct their business by this element and earing a amount that are shared among all of the members of cooperatives. It’s a long lasting income generating for the local women.
