Charli was spending part of her holidays with friends abroad. She emailed Pathways describing how she had been sexually assaulted while traveling in Spain.
A Pathways advocate was able to send detailed information to Charli about the medical resources, law enforcement response and legal aspects of being a victim of sexual assault in Spain.
Charli was able to make an informed decision about what steps she wanted to take. Charli continued to communicate via email with a Pathways' advocate and is now back home receiving counseling.
Because of donors like you, victims of sexual assault abroad are able to get critical help in the aftermath of an assault. Thank you!
