Blue Cross Denmark have provided a variety of activities to the children that attend the “Children's Blue House”. At this winter season it is important to give children an opportunity to take part in the winter fun even if their parents do not have the strength or capacity to provide these experiences. Winter sports need a lot of equipment and for many families struggling with social or health problems purchasing such equipment for their children may not be possible. To fill this gap the staff and volunteers at Barnet Blå Huset have arranged winter holiday season activities such as ice skating for the children attending their groups.
From the beginning of the year the volunteers have received further training for their work with children and variety of talks have been held at schools and other community events to highlight the work of Blue Cross Denmark and the opportunities for the families to receive this support.
Families are under variety of pressures that sometimes lead to substance misuse. Your support is vital for enabling this good work to continue and giving small glimpses of sunshine to the life of these families. Thank you for sharing this journey with us by your donations!
