KIFA means Kole Intellectual Forum

How can I be patriotically useful to my country, community and people at this difficult time when the country (Uganda) is at postwar situation like this? Especially, the very region where I come from, Northern Uganda? The patriotic founder member of Kole Intellectual Forum was recorded to have asked this question in 2015; a question that is believed to have given birth to the present existence of Kole Intellectual Forum. The issues about patriotic love to one another.

The Founder Member labored to tell the story that has partly contributed towards the formation and existence of the expected answer to the patriotic love to the nation, community and the people of Northern Uganda through the organization. One of the team of KIFA recorded the story. A moment that the organization calls it that: it is the time of retreat, meditation, recollection and to rethink about the history of the organization: and it is expected help the organization to build its momentum, strength and capacity to progress positivily; the expected power of the history that is helping them every now and then to face all sorts of challenges that may come across their way.

To the founder member of the organization, according to the information, he went on to explain that: in the beginning, it had not been very easy for people to see the patriotic love that he had for his own country, community and specifically for his own people; since there were no clear way he could externally express it to them. He continued to note that: the only thing he used to do, was to hang the Uganda National Flag and that of East Africa in their offices; and yet, there were a number of questions by the people around and passerby that: what are these people doing here?

The founder member in conclusion, has this to say: Today, patriotically, we are proud to let you know that: among others, we are in the process of building the most modern Institute of Home Economics - a tool that is assumed to build the concept of patriotic love at homes -in Northern Uganda with the intention to greatly transform the lives of many people within the region. Therefore, we would like to call upon you – be with us, stand with us, move with us; patriotically.
