First of all, thank you very much to all the support to CRAN to overcome the challenge, thanks to the unconditional support, our project was ranked 36 (in a ranking of 229) now we become a part of the Global Giving community!

With your support, we could continue working for the improvement of the health of Colombian children in CRAN. During December 2012 and January 2013, over 300 children were benefited in more than medical appointments, specialized exams, occupational therapy and medication.

One of the project beneficiary is Cristina and here is her story:

Cristina is three years old, she is with us since 2012. She joined CRAN for negligence in her care. Due to a congenital problem in her limbs, she walked with difficulty. To correct this dysfunction, on January 23 she had a surgery called elongation bilateral Achilles heel. For two or three months, Cristina will be cast. With exercises and therapies she will walk normally and can run and play with other children. Thanks to your support on the GlobalGiving project, we could cover all expenses, medicines and hire someone to take care Cristina permanently during recovery.

In January, two other children, Peter of three years old, and Maria, also of three years, were operated and successfully evolve.

This is one of many stories of children who have been benefited from your contribution. Once again, thank you very much for CRANsform lives!
