Coimbatore West Zone inter-school sports matches
happened for four days starting July 12th. Girls as
well as boys teams from Isha Vidhya Coimbatore
Matriculation School participated in the competitions
in which 50 other schools competed in football, volleyball
and hockey matches!
We are glad to share that Isha Vidhya Under-14 girls team
won the 2nd place in the volley ball competition.
Also, we are glad to share that the Under-14 boys team won
the 1st place in the volley ball competition to qualify for the
District level competition!
The Under-14 Boys team played against Govt. Hr.Sec.School
team of Devarayapuram, Coimbatore, and the Under-14 Girls
team played against S.B.O.A team of Sokkampudur, Coimbatore.
These are major achievements considering the limited time that
our students had for the preparations.
This is the first time the Coimbatore Isha Vidhya Matriculation
School teams had played matches at zonal level. The sports
officials appreciated the performance of our students and wished
them a bright future.
The teams shared: "We are determined to continue these winning
streaks and win more in the future!"
That's an example of what the enabled rural students can achieve!
