EVERY GIRL MATTERS

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Dear Friends,

Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our End Early Child Marriage in Rural Uganda project. Your generosity reminds every girl in our program that she matters and deserves the opportunity to succeed.

During this reporting period, project activities focused on reinforcing messages of inclusion, equality, and education. Girls participated in mentorship sessions that helped build self-confidence, leadership skills, and emotional resilience.

Many girls reported feeling more valued and supported as a result of these interventions. They expressed stronger commitment to their education and greater hope for their future opportunities.

Community awareness sessions engaged parents, teachers, and leaders in discussions about the importance of protecting girls from early marriage. These conversations helped strengthen community responsibility and support for education.

Teachers reported positive changes in student attendance and engagement among girls benefiting from the project. Schools continue to play an essential role in supporting vulnerable learners.

Community leaders also strengthened their advocacy efforts, encouraging families to prioritize education and protect children’s rights.

Every girl matters, and every investment in her education creates lasting impact. Through your support, we are helping girls realize their worth and build brighter futures.

Thank you for standing with us and ensuring that every girl matters.
