EXPANDING PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS

By Othieno Gerald | Project Leader

Dear Donors and Supporters,

Thank you for your continued support of our End Early Child Marriage in Rural Uganda project. Your generosity is helping expand pathways to success for vulnerable girls across rural communities.

During this reporting period, our project focused on strengthening access to education and encouraging families to prioritize schooling over early marriage. Community outreach activities brought together parents, teachers, and local leaders to discuss the importance of girls' education and the long-term benefits it brings.

Many families demonstrated increased awareness of how education can break cycles of poverty and create better opportunities for their daughters. These discussions are contributing to more supportive home environments where girls are encouraged to stay in school.

Girls participating in mentorship programs continued to receive life-skills training that focused on leadership, communication, self-confidence, and decision-making. Many participants expressed renewed motivation to pursue their education and achieve personal goals.

Teachers reported improvements in attendance, participation, and classroom engagement among girls benefiting from project interventions. Schools remain key partners in ensuring that vulnerable students receive consistent support.

Community leaders also strengthened their advocacy efforts, promoting child protection and raising awareness about the risks associated with child marriage. Their involvement is helping build safer and more supportive communities.

Every step taken to keep a girl in school opens a pathway to a brighter future. Through your support, more girls are gaining access to opportunities that can transform their lives.

Thank you for helping us expand these pathways and create lasting impact.
